THE CONCEPT: Alexander Starkweather is the last person you'd expect, or even want, to be a hero. Alex has spent in life in comfortable mediocrity; content to drift through life unnoticed. On his 23rd birthday however, something awakens in him. A power that was locked away from him as a child has exploded into uncontrolled outbursts and fragments of a buried past begin to surface. Visions of a girl he’s never met and a past he can’t remember haunt his dreams and a sudden resolves drives him to find this girl before harm can come to her.

Armed with only a cursory knowledge of his past, a power he can’t control, and a belligerent talking Iguana, Alex must locate and protect Danni Golden before a powerful warlock named Emmanuel uses her to further his agenda. Hunted by unstoppable magical constructs, witches, and an ancient order dedicated to their extinction, Alex and Danni must overcome incredible odds in order to preserve the balance of magic.
